About the Opportunity
As a Talent Consultant reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will provide the highest level of candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process. This role will encompass everything recruitment however will be primarily:
- Undertaking passive searches
- Screening applicants
- Employment checking (includes police, qualifications and reference checking)
- Interview scheduling and organising interview packs
- Preparing employment contracts and pre boarding/onboarding documents
- All admin tasks associated with hiring/inducting new staff members
- Providing a professional, responsive recruitment and employment service to our clients
- Service delivery that is focused and sensitive to business needs
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders
What you’ll need to be successful
- A minimum of two year’s demonstrated experience in the talent acquisition space or other Human Resources / People & Culture experience (desirable)
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Highly motivated with a positive nature
- Strong personal initiative and enthusiasm
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Genuine interest in other people and their development needs
- Trustworthy, reliable, strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Organised with the ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
