About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner and the finance lead on the business department leadership team. You will be the primary RACV point of contact for provision of all finance services to designated business department and deliver an effective balance of financial management and reporting, business strategy and advice to influence performance.

You will be responsible for the delivery of finance services including decision support, planning, reporting, and accounting.
Your primary focus will include:
- Trusted advisor to internal clients to support co-achievement of financial outcomes as the finance lead on the department leadership team.
- Lead role in co-ordinating the annual Business Planning and rolling forecasting processes.
- Ensure monthly LT and other reporting is completed on time and to a high standard. Monitor financial performance by proactively comparing financial activity against budget and providing accurate financial performance information and forecast of expected outcomes. Includes P&L’s, projects, capital expenditure and other key business metrics
- Manage end-of-month and year end financial processes and cost control in line with key timelines and accounting policies.
- Focus on continuous process improvement
- Leading and the development of 1 direct report
What you’ll need to be successful
- Tertiary qualifications in fields of business, accounting and/or economics.
- Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant
- Experience of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting
- Strong team player
- Excellent communication, listening, oral, written
- Influencing and stakeholder management skills:
- Financial analysis and modelling
- Attention to detail
- 8 years’ relevant post graduate business experience including accounting or commercial management role
