Responsible for recruiting predominantly in Australia, as well as supporting Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia as needed. Delivers high quality candidates and advances the Rackspace brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the Rackspace selection process. Performs full life cycle recruiting and maintains relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. Requires a wide degree of creativity, business understanding, and personal organization.

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a recruiter in fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within the Tech industry
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple roles & prioritise high volumes of recruitment

- Demonstrated ability to source candidates using multiple, creative solutions
- Confidence & capability to partner effectively with and manage stakeholders at various levels of seniority
- Ideally hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (we use Lever)

This role will be Sydney based, but for the right candidate we may consider this role to be remote (elsewhere in Australia).
Please note this is a Permanent role so you must have full Australian work rights to apply for this role (either Permanent Residency or Citizenship).
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full life cycle recruitment across all departments (Technical Support, Service Delivery, Professional Services, Sales & Marketing and other teams as needed) from sourcing, screening and selection, coordinating interviews, to negotiation, offer and close
- Develops and maintains working relationships with stakeholders, vendors and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Leverages online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates and participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies
- Manages the engagement and relationship with recruitment agency partners as required
- Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about Rackspace, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation- setting
- Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, hiring manager’s interactions, and other recruiting activities
- Develop a deep understanding of Rackspace and our culture and use this understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive
- Effectively encourage and monitor all referrals from Rackers to maximize this source
- All time to offer guidelines, job descriptions, person specifications and interview processes are agreed prior to the commencement of the recruitment process to ensure an effective and efficient process
- Cost effective recruitment is achieved and maintained
- Applicant quality, time to fill and quality of hire
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of professional Human Resources experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience focused only on recruiting and talent acquisition
- Experience managing full lifecycle recruiting gained ideally within the IT industry across all Departments using direct sourcing methods (Networking, LinkedIn, Job-Boards, Internal Talent Pools) and the ability to identify the best talent
- Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build recruiting solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs, remaining competitive in talent market, and operating within financial resource constraints
- Basic project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments across a broad technical skill set
- Effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed and appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with Hiring Managers and Leaders
- Creative approach to recruitment and ways to attract top quality candidates with the ability to present new recruiting concepts to Stakeholders
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working within a fast-paced technical industry.
- Experience recruiting technical and sales roles
- Previous experience recruiting and networking with cloud talent
