Rackson Restaurants is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist located in NY, NJ, CT, MD, DE, PA or OH to join our People and Culture team.

Job Title:

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Reports to:

VP, People and Culture

Summary Objective:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruiting for store leadership positions across the organization, as well as corporate office positions. The TA Specialist will partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and help optimize the recruiting process. The TA Specialist will support the development of Rackson’s talent acquisition strategy, own ATS management and TA reporting, and develop sourcing strategies for each role to ensure a diverse, highly talented candidate pool.

Essential Functions:

• Post new job requisitions and source candidates

• Screen resumes and manage candidates

• Maintain candidate pipelines

• Oversee recruiting and hiring tasks for all Rackson locations

• Manage recruiting event programming, community relationship building, and employer branding

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage recruiting and hiring for all Rackson locations

• Utilize ATS to manage open roles and track recruiting process from beginning to end

• Actively source candidates using various platforms and job sites to build a strong pipeline of candidates

• Communicate daily with hiring managers and other management regarding hiring and

dispositioning candidates

• Serve as liaison between candidates and hiring managers

• Provide a positive experience to all candidates

• Schedule recruiting events with established recruiting partners

• Create and maintain relationships with new recruiting partners

• Create new and innovative recruiting strategies to gain interest from a wide variety

of candidates

• Communicate with applicants as needed

• Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews as needed

• Build and execute sourcing strategy

• Enter data into a variety of platforms including but not limited to Microsoft

Project, PowerBL, Pro Work, and Microsoft Excel

• Prepare reports on recruiting metrics

• Build recruiting marketing materials using Canva and other tools

• Participate in special department projects as needed

• Work flexible hours as necessary to accommodate candidate schedules

• Assume other duties as assigned

Required Experience, Education & Certifications:

• 3-5 years of high-volume full cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment

• Recruiting experience in a retail, fitness, food service, hospitality, or related field

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

• Experience with Workstream or other ATS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Working knowledge of HRIS systems and ATS systems

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Drive, Smartsheet, etc.)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move freely throughout restaurants.
• Ability to communicate via phone including hearing and talking.
• Ability to perform sedentary work such as computer-based work.
• Ability to utilize close visual acuity such as for creating and analyzing data/spreadsheets, word documents, and graphic designs.

Travel:

Ability to travel to restaurants and other business locations up to approximately 50% of the time.
