Racemark International NA, LLC Hiring for Accountant Job at Calhoun, GA Full Time

Description: The Accountant is highly organized and self-driven person who executes on the established accounting policies and procedures of Racemark USA. This includes preparing, posting, and reconciling journal entries in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. The accountant is primarily focused on accounts payables and accounts receivables activities and supports with insurance, payroll, tax and intercompany topics as they arise. This role is encouraged to identify and report potential weakness in Racemark’s financial control systems to drive improvements.

Main Objectives:

• Executes monthly accounting close process and timely and accurate reporting of financial statements
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts
• Posts & reconciles bank transaction
• Ensures accounts payables and receivables are accurate and complete
• Supports the preparation and creation of the annual operating budget, periodic forecasts and variance analysis
• Supports analysis of variances
• Supports financial processes and systems to drive improved efficiency, internal controls, and reporting capabilities
• Supports the preparation of tax filings
• Confirms IRS & GAAP compliance
• Coordinates ad-hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of experience in General Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Finance Planning & Analysis
• Manufacturing experience required. Automotive or textile experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with accounting and taxation regulations
• Strong written and spoken English language skills are required
• Technology savvy and experience with an integrated ERP system required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
