The Role

The Business Control Analyst role focuses on producing insightful cost management s, analysis, and insights to support decision-making for the business.

Top Role Accountabilities:

• Support Senior Business Controllers in the completion of departmental tasks and deliverables
• Assist with the development and maintenance of cost allocation frameworks and controls, cost forecast models, financial s and insights,
• Conduct monitoring of the P&L, ensuring the general ledger is consistently accurate (including accruals)

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Experience in a financial role
• Strong numerical skills with a relevant degree
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build connections across an organisation
• Good communication skills, including the ability to provide insights and tell a story about the data
• CPA/CA and financial services experience would also be beneficial, but not necessary

The team

The Business Control team is a team of 8, all based in the Sydney office (working hybrid so 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home). The work you will be doing is integral to steering the business and you’ll get to see direct value from your contribution. Help build a strong cost management culture so that we can continue to grow.
