We are looking to hire an experienced accounting associate. Minimum of two years’ experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or billing. Must have good typing and phone skills. Must be able to stay on task with minimal supervision. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains would be helpful but is not required. We offer a competitive wage based on qualifications. This may be a full or part time position depending on qualifications of the successful candidate.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Associate will provide accounting and finance services in support of the organization’s business objective. Specifically, the Associate will be responsible for compiling and maintaining records of business transactions and office activities relating to accounts payable, inventory and purchasing. It is essential for this role to provide strong customer service to internal and external customers and relay information to management through appropriate reports.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT: These essential duties & responsibilities are not meant to be all-inclusive. Other duties may be assigned by management.

· Prepares purchase orders or requests for quotes

· Generate accounts payable.

· Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

· Monitor past due statements/invoices from vendors.

· Match account payable invoices to purchase orders.

· Confers with vendors to obtain products or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.

· Review requisitions

· Copies date and compiles records and reports

· Maintain the purchase price variance report

· Contact vendors to find out status of an order.

· Contacts vendor with discrepancies with quality and quantity.

· Corrects quantities or other errors for inventory

· Data entry of purchases orders.

· Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems with needed purchase items.

· Help maintain computerized inventory tracking system.

· Enters data and maintains administrative logs, faxes, deliveries and shipments.

· Purchases supplies for office.

· Responsible for answering phone for either AM or PM and directing calls to appropriate staff.

· Weighs and stamps outgoing mail for shipment.

· Represent R Braun Inc., in a professional manner at all times.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related course of study or equivalent experience and or training in accounts payable, accounting and inventory or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform duties for the position listed above.

· Excellent customer service skills

· Able to multitask in fast paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

Pay: $30,512.00 – $37,440.00 per year
