R Australia Hiring for Social Media Coordinator at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Full Time

1R Australia is on the hunt for an exceptional Social Media Coordinator to come on board for a six-month contract (with the potential to extend) to help us show the nation why we are a world-leading fitness experience.

From day one, you’ll be supporting the General Manager: Marketing & Product to build and grow our online presence across Melbourne (and Australia). You’ll contribute to existing digital marketing activity and help to grow our social media accounts.

What your role will involve:

Supporting the General Manager: Marketing & Product in rolling out all of our campaigns and events. This will include:

• Content creation and planning
• Driving awareness around the brand on social media platforms (Instagram and TikTok)
• Monitoring social media and managing our online presence
• Email marketing
• Website moderation
• Managing digital campaigns (including Google and social media advertising)

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who isn’t afraid to push the boundaries and has proven content creation and social media management experience (2+ years)
• Flawless relationship building and relationship management skills
• A confident communicator who is not afraid to speak up, challenge the norm, and has a solution-focused mentality
• Excellent copywriting and professional communication skills
• Although not essential, you will ideally have graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Suite), and an understanding of paid ad platforms

Most importantly, you’ll be a go-getter, a self-starter and have a tonne of creative flair. You’ll be an organised multi-tasker and love a challenge. Plus, you’ll have a passion for fitness.
