Title: QA Engineer

Location: Reading, Berkshire (Remote first, office visits once or twice a week)

Salary: £55,000 + generous benefits package

My client is a global cloud-based Software Company based in Reading who have been recognised as one of the best places to work in Berkshire. They have an exciting vision for 2022 and this opportunity will allow an experienced QA to leave their footprint on a brand new Greenfield project. Their team culture is second to none and you’ll be recognised, valued and looked after.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Java and Selenium, though they’re happy to train people into new areas if you’ve perhaps got experience with a different language. You’ll be working with a few of the Senior QA’s to help with building frameworks in a robust and maintainable way. You will work alongside the QA Manager who also remains fully hands on, and three other QA’s across their Agile teams. Everything they are building is part of an exceptionally high standard product suite that sits on microservices architecture.

They have a very modern office in Reading with brilliant facilities on site. The team mostly work from home but will meet in the office once or twice a week.

Responsibilities:

Assist the team with test strategy

Maintain test automation frameworks using Java

Selenium, Cucumber, BDD

Linux at Command line level

Agile environment

Qualifications:

ISTQB or ISEB
