The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will manage two team members and have a critical role in the group. This position is responsible for compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations, monthly reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Duties

• Ensure the day to day compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations
• Manage the monthly consolidation, financial reporting, and accounting for group-level entities
• Manage the preparation of the annual financial statements
• Execute the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, analysis, and business processes
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Coordinate and manage the preparation and lodgement of all taxation and statutory returns to the ATO
• Carry out monthly financial reporting, ensuring reports are produced to a high level
• Build value-added business relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Review and improve internal controls
• Develop and document a robust understanding of business processes and business risks.

About you
For success in this position, we require a technically strong Finance Manager (CA/CPA qualified) with solid IFRS knowledge. The ideal candidate will have started their career in professional services and gained some industry experience, although other backgrounds will be considered. This position is also suited to senior financial accountants looking to take the next step in their careers.
