Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL

Travel: Possible deployments may include travel to hostile fire areas

Quiet Professionals, LLC is seeking a Microsoft Azure certified Software Engineer to join a team of IT and intelligence professionals working to provide near real-time intelligence information to users on the front line. The Engineer will maintain existing software and develop new software to customer specifications They will be integral in coordination among government customers and cross-agency partners to maintain a shared resource for collecting, processing, and disseminating forensic information. The engineer will work daily on maintaining and improving the current environment to better meet the needs of the end users.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements, perform research, and collaborate with engineering teams to evolve and deliver product backlog items using Scrum.
• Make recommendations for upgrading legacy UIs and implementing development standards on the front-end.
• Design, develop and maintain UI pages, components, and backing APIs.
• Manage front-end tools and frameworks for linting, bundling, testing, and other build tasks.
• Ensure software meets non-functional requirements including quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Support overall team development, operations, testing, integration, and fielding of websites, APIs and other applications.
• Provide remote and on-site user assistance.

Requirements:

• Relocation to or residence in the Tampa, FL area
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 3+ years of engineering experience
• MS Azure Certified
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio using Git
• Familiarity with patterns, practices, and principles of software development
• Experience with developing on a Scrum team

· Able to operate in a mission-critical and time-sensitive environments

Preferred:

• Experience in the application of standard DOD STIG packages and remediation of functional or performance issues
• Familiarity with SOCOM IT practices and procedures

Pay: $125,000.00 per year
