We’re looking for our next Junior Financial Analyst. Could It Be You?

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis by assisting in the budgeting & forecasting process and with financial reporting, with a specific focus on providing QFG’s management insight on business cases for new projects and initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, the primary duties of this role will be to provide management reports, forecasts and analysis on various business cases.

In this role, you will:

• Update business cases with actuals at month end, and reforecast future months as applicable.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Office and Product teams on business cases updates and maintenance of templates.
• Assist with FP&A report building and maintenance.
• Coordinate with various department heads and finance staff to collect, analyze and compile forecast/budget information.
• Assist in preparing information presentations for various stakeholders.
• Continue to enhance budgeting and forecasting process.
• Assist in FP&A software expansion projects (Netsuite/Oracle EPM).
• Assist in Netsuite reporting and analytics.
• Support the Finance team in producing meaningful data/analysis.
• Provide analytical reviews of revenue and cost.
• Prepare and maintain management and operational reports.
• Perform reconciliation processes for various reports and systems to ensure data integrity.

✔ You are enrolled or recently completed CPA program.

✔ You have advanced experience with MS Excel.

✔ You have 1-3 years of practical and analytical experience in finance or working within a financial brokerage.

✔ You are able to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines.

✔You have working experience in analyzing business cases.

✔ You are able to work independently.

✔ You have experience interacting with multiple levels of management both verbally and in writing.

✔ You have excellent organizational and analytical skills.

✔ You can manage multiple work assignments in a constantly changing business environment.
