Mechanical Design Engineer

We are working with a prestigious client based in Chorley who have been established for over 40 years now. They specialise in bespoke solutions, and also recognise the benefits of utilising and integrating existing technologies. They are specialists in their area and predominately supply to Civil and Defence Nuclear industry. We are currently working with this amazing organisation and looking for highly experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their business.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience of mechanical engineering principles, covering:
• Mechanics
• Materials
• Manufacturing Technologies
• Engineering  Analysis
• Fabrication structures
• Complex mechanical equipment

– Must have experience of engineering in design and manufacturing

– Detailed knowledge of drawing principles and standards

– AutoCAD 2D experience is a must at least 5 years working experience 

– 3D CAD user (Inventor or Solidworks) at least 5 years’ experience 

The successful Mechanical Engineer will work within a multi-discipline design team and be responsible for undertaking the design and drawings for mechanical equipment as delegated by the Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer
