The opportunity:

We are currently looking for a permanent full-time Recruitment Lead, who can lead a team of Recruitment Advisers and Coordinators to deliver best practice sourcing and selection activities across Queensland Rail.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coaching a team to achieve high standards of talent acquisition service delivery, including advice, support, education and coaching to Hiring Leaders in the business.

• Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business, understanding their current and emerging sourcing needs and challenges and responding with timely and effective recruitment service delivery.
• Identifying opportunities to promote Queensland Rail through strategic partnerships and presence at careers fairs and expos, open days and trade shows.
• Active participation in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies that meet current and future sourcing needs of the business.
• As part of the Recruitment, Remuneration and Organisational Design leadership team, offering expertise and coaching to the members of the Recruitment Team.

• Extensive knowledge of talent acquisition strategies to enable successful recruitment outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, negotiate and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Proven ability of conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
