The role Reporting to the Program Manager – Epidemiology, you will support the analysis, interpretation and reporting of statistics and health-related data for the Cancer Screening Unit. You will extract, manipulate and perform statistical analysis, and prepare reports to disseminate statistical information. You will provide analytical advice and consultancy on cancer screening data matters and liaise and consultant with other teams within the Cancer Screening Branch.
The successful personYou will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in statistical analysis with the ability to interpret statistical information from large and complex data sets. You will have the ability to extract data using SQL and analyse and manipulate data with statistical software such as R or Stata. Additionally, you will have high level interpersonal and communications skills to effectively communicate technical information to various stakeholders and provide reports.
