About the Role

• Provide leadership within a legal, professional and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
• Integrate nursing and health care knowledge, skills and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
• Facilitate the delivery of cost effective quality consumer/person focused care through the development, implementation and maintenance of education and professional development programs and activities for nursing staff.
• Collaborate in the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care that enables consumers/persons and their families.
• Practice collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
