About your opportunityProvide expert midwifery leadership, advice, support and education, within the multidisciplinary team of the Townsville HHS, in relation to education initiatives and programs based on adult education and contemporary educational strategies. This role is to support midwifery practice through the delivery of midwifery education within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS) for midwives, midwifery students and nurses.

Responsible for enacting strategies that supports a work-based culture that promotes and supports education, learning, research and workforce development. Participates in the development and sustainability in the culture of learning resulting in a capable and educated midwifery/nursing workforce. To facilitate and provide midwifery/nursing leadership, support, clinical supervision and mentoring within the midwifery/nursing team.

Generous pro rata remuneration package value up to $43,727 p.a. comprising salary range of $60.01 to $65.15 p.h. (Nurse Grade 7), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation.
