About your opportunity

The Mental Health Service Group is currently seeking to recruit a Clinical Educator Mental Health / Nurse Educator to their team on a permanent full-time basis. This position sits within the Safety, Education, Risk and Quality Unit.

The purpose of this position is the development, implementation, delivery, coordination and evaluation of high standard mental health education that has a focus on multi-disciplinary clinical skill development, supports the capacity building of staff and communities, promoting improved understanding of mental health and mental illness and addressing required outcomes in line with Health Service, Service Group, National and State policies, plan and strategies.

Generous remuneration package value up to $131,266 p.a. (HP4) or $136,167 p.a (Nurse Grade 7) comprising:

• Salary range of $4409.80 to $4745.20 p.f. (HP4) or $4561.00 to $4951.80 p.f. (Nurse Grade 7)
• 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements

• It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Proof of qualification (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
• Possession of class C drivers’ licence.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
• 6 month probation period.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
