Queensland Government Hiring for Scientist (Soils and Forestry) Job at Queensland Full Time

• Participate in the measurement and monitoring of forest management practices to assess values of forest stands through carbon, soil, water and sustainability research. – Contribute to building knowledge of sustainable management in production forests to conduct scientific research of high quality and adhere to the principles of scientific method and integrity to ensure RD&E has a significant State and regional impact.- Assist in the collection, evaluation and analysis of scientific data using appropriate computer software and scientific methods.- Work in a team environment and take direction to ensure the work of the unit is undertaken in a collaborative and supportive way.- Assess options and identify solutions to address day-to-day issues related to research projects to assist the research team in attaining project goals.- Support a culture of achievement, strive for quality outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage risks that may impede success
