Economic Development Queensland is looking for an individual to lead it’s financial accounting functions. The candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their accounting technical skills on varying and wide ranging matters.
They will prepare accounting advice based on Australian Accounting Standards, Queensland Government Financial Reporting Requirements and policies. This includes researching and making recommendations to key stakeholders on emerging issues. You will provide valuable insight on financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
This will include representing the finance team on specific areas within the organisation and with various business units.
