The role
Reporting to the Director of Finance you will effectively manage and coordinate the budget, forecasting and financial modelling activities of North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS). The primary focus is on providing robust financial support and performance analysis to the business.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce or Accounting, or equivalent, is considered essential to fulfil the responsibilities of the role and would be highly regarded.
Associated relevant professional registration (e.g. CPA/CA, CIMA or ICA qualified) is also highly desirable.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful candidate; this may include criminal history checksand Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role compliance. VPD risk roles may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: COVID-19. New employees of Queensland Health and existing temporary or casual employees moving into permanent roles may be required to undergo a 3-month period of probation.
