Your contribution

Provide confidential, accurate and efficient administrative and executive support to the Executive Regional Director and Regional Development North team in a fast-paced and sensitive working environment, including: management of the Exec Regional Director’s diary preparation of confidential reports and executive correspondence overseeing the organisation of meetings, conferences and eventsassist with the organisation of workshops and presentations, coordinating appropriate preplanning activities (including the booking of venues) and preparation and distribution of agenda papers/minutes, organising hospitality and providing support for such functionstravel arrangements including the planning of itineraries, travel bookings, accommodation and expense claims responding to and directing telephone enquiriesfinancial and non-financial processing such as office consumables and corporate card ensure compliance with departmental corporate governance policy and proceduresMaintain and utilise computer-based word processing, spreadsheet and database software packagesMaintain correspondence tracking, filing and retrieval systemsPerform a range of activities which includes collating and preparing correspondence and reports, providing information and managing the flow of correspondenceCo-ordinate and collate a range of regular reports and briefsCommunicate and liaise with various levels of management, the general public and senior executives from public and private organisations on a wide range of issues and maintain effective working relationshipsDevelop, analyse and implement effective administrative systems and proceduresProvide assistance to the Exec Services Manager to plan, coordinate & provide confidential executive services to support the operations of the Exec Regional Director in the leadership & delivery of Regional Development for North region, and departmental accountabilities, priorities & activitiesIn collaboration with the Exec Service Manager and Business Support team, analyse, report and resolve queries for financial, HR and correspondence relating to the ERD officeDemonstrate commitment to the Department’s core values of customers first, empower people, unleash potential, be courageous, ideas into action and collaboratePerform other tasks as required by the Executive Regional Director and team members.
