• Implement, maintain and review financial and administrative policies and procedures, including, travel and accommodation arrangements, building, vehicle, plant and equipment maintenance to facilitate the effective functioning of the Directorate/s.- Administer financial processes including procurement, ordering, payments of accounts, petty cash, monthly monitoring, and reconciliation in accordance with current legislative and departmental accounting practices.- Provide a high standard of skills in a range of software packages and databases in the administration of services provided by the Directorate/s.- Investigate financial enquiries ensuring timely, accurate solutions are reached.- Contribute to effective teamwork by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of other team members and working collaboratively to deliver services to the Directorate/s.- Liaise with Departmental officers and other Government and non Government organisations as necessary. – Enhance the local regional community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving regional client service.Work in Rockhampton – Come and join a great team within the Sunshine Coast and Central Region Placement Services Unit.
