• It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19.- Applicants must have graduate qualifications in accountancy, commerce, finance or another field relevant to the role of Executive Director, Finance.- Membership of a recognised professional accountancy body, or the ability to seek membership of a professional accountancy body.- The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver’s licence may be required.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:

• Demonstrated track record within a large service delivery organisation to deliver expert leadership and management of financial systems, operational infrastructure and procurement functions, procedures and controls to ensure superior financial performance.- Expert knowledge of accounting industry standards, key issues and emerging trends, and their implications for key financial practices impacting on ambulance service delivery in the health sector.- Highly developed leadership and management skills, including the demonstrated capacity to create and maintain high performing teams and strategically manage change and innovation to improve organisational capability.- Demonstrated executive level leadership and expertise to formulate and deliver the annual operating plan and financial sustainability plan, utilising the QAS strategy to drive financial decisions and prioritisation of financial resources.- Demonstrated advanced consulting and communication skills which are conducive to the development of business partnerships and positively influencing others in the achievement of strategic financial objectives.- Demonstrated executive thinking ability, including proven experience in representing a large, complex organisation in internal and external stakeholder forums, industry groups and service provider contract negotiations, ensuring value for money and performance.
