The Role: We are recruiting to a number of posts with the successful candidates assigned to work as part of a team in a professional, modern and forward-facing Finance Department. The post-holder will provide financial support services to assist the University in achieving its ambitious Strategy 2030 objectives. Duties may include support for research/other grant finances, reconciliation of control accounts, processing of journals, investigation of variances, procurement support, payment processing and improving financial awareness of those using Finance processes.
The Person: You will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), to include English Language and Mathematics or NVQ Level 2 Accounting or equivalent finance-related subject, and at least three years demonstrable relevant work experience, to include a minimum of 18 months relevant finance work experience, in areas set out in the job specification.
