THE ROLE

Based in our Sydney Head Office, the Accounts Clerk will be responsible for data collation of vessel information to ensure all revenue is captured for operations and the administrative coordination of vendor invoices for finance. The role also includes Corporate Credit Card Administrator.

Specific tasks would include but not limited to:

• Coordinate vessel information and input data into invoicing system within required timeframe to ensure client contracts are adhered to
• Ensure all revenue is captured
• Ensure month end deadlines are met
• Complete the revenue accrual for the relevant sites
• All Corporate Card Admin from sending out application forms to changing passwords, training new users and adding new account codes.
• Completing the monthly accrual for the corporate cards
• Monthly Standing Journals
• Monthly Bank reconciliation

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role.
• Some accounting studies would be well regarded
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
• Advanced level of computer literacy with in-house Accounting packages and MS Office products
• Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
• High organisational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
• Ability to work well within a small team environment
