Our office is looking for an individual for a full or part time Accounting Clerk position in Oak Brook, IL. The ideal candidate will have solid clerical and data entry skills, be able to multi-task, take initiative, and have a strong work ethic. You must also have experience with Microsoft Office software. Accounting Clerk Job Responsibilities:

• Documents conversation and arrangements accurately in the system
• Data entry of supplier invoices
• Produce, retrieve, update, and analyze billing exception reports to ensure billing accuracy
• Updating and maintaining spreadsheets
• Understand and facilitate accounting processes
• Treats all contacts in a courteous and professional manner
• Process payments and credit memos
• Maintain neat and orderly filing system
• Assist with mail & package distribution duties
• Strong commitment to obtaining our daily, weekly & monthly performance objectives
• Administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• High school diploma is required
• Ability to get along well with others, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism
• Clear communication is a must

Pay: $40,000.00 per year or $20 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
