Quantium Hiring for Product Marketing Lead at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

The Role

This role is to lead the design and delivery of our product marketing roadmap, strategy, and implementation.It includes responsibility for marketing and communication strategies across our Consumer and Retail products globally, to drive the growth of our product portfolios, generate leads and maximise engagement across our client base.

In this role, you will engage with stakeholders across multiple areas of the business, helping to maximise the impact of our product marketing. You will lead the Product Marketing team and have 3 direct s.

Key Responsibilities

• As the People leader of the Product Marketing team, you will provide direction and support as well as creating learning and growth opportunities for them.
• Act as the key contact for product marketing within the business, working closely with the Customer Success, Product Training and Product Management and Consulting teams.
• Collaborate and influence senior stakeholders (Executive Manager level and above) across Quantium globally to design and execute product marketing strategies in harmony with the retail product development and deployment roadmaps. This may include launching new features or releases, education of users on product functionality and value, communication of bugs / fixes, product embedment comms etc.
• Maximise user engagement with marketing collateral (e.g., reach, open-rates, click-through rates) across our user base through impactful product release communications as well as retention and engagement campaigns.
• Some focus on the product go-to-market strategy to support product sales and Consulting sales targets.
• Involvement in the execution of copy and campaigns, working closely with the Senior Product Marketing Specialist on campaign development, providing support and direction where required.
• Design and implement processes to maximise efficiencies and enable measurement of product marketing activities.

Key activities :

• Research the target market and audience, customer needs, and competitor offerings. Gather customer insights where possible to inform positioning and marketing strategies.
• Oversee the creation of compelling value proposition and messaging for Quantium products – ensuring that they are kept up to date and accurately reflect current product capabilities.
• Ensure that product messaging is tested and optimised (when possible) e.g., if we run a beta or pilot
• Ensure that product messaging is socialised with internal customer facing teams and is used in all external materials.

Go-to-market / launch campaign planning

• Oversee the creation GTM strategy plans and timelines as required for product launches, feature releases, and beta programs.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional working groups, as required, to ensure key stakeholders are kept up to date with the status of the project
• Lead/facilitate workshops/meetings to define meaningful success metrics for each campaign (over and above just email open/ click through rates).
• Liaise with internal retailer teams to seek feedback / sign off if required.

Sales / internal enablement

• Prepare, review, and send internal comms to support the successful launch of new products, features, or product updates to internal sales and BD teams.
• Oversee the creation of all internal enablement material to support such launches, such as one-pagers, FAQs, and internal Slack posts and emails.

Product Launches / Feature Releases

• Oversee the execution of launch campaigns, supporting as required in the creation of project and stakeholder management and reviewing / developing campaign materials such as brochures, BD decks, product videos, and events such as webinars or live supplier events.

BAU and Ad Hoc campaigns

• Support BAU and ad hoc campaigns as required e.g., create, feedback and sign off on email and landing page copy.
• Support the development and execution of product related webinars, including overseeing the development of webinar materials and attending dry runs.
• Review and provide feedback on ad hoc product related emails such as product outages and errors, in conjunction with Product Support.
• Write/coordinate copy for LinkedIn posts when required (non-product marketing activity).

Team Management / Resourcing:

• Lead regular team WIPs, workshops and collaborative sessions.
• Work with Product Managers to ensure the Product Marketing Roadmap is updated, and the team are kept informed.
• Host the Consumer and Retail GTM Fortnightly – collect input from key stakeholders to build agenda / maintain campaign timeline.

Experience And Education Required

• Degree or equivalent in Marketing or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management or sales & marketing roles.Experience in retail product marketing preferred.
• Previous experience driving change, coaching and leading teams.
• Demonstrable experience in developing product go-to-market and marketing strategies based on clear market segmentation and clear commercial outcomes.
• Strong operator with track-record of driving execution of complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders
• Deep understanding of product management practices, and high-level of comfort with data and technology
• Very comfortable with ambiguity and with making decisions based on partial information; comfortable with setting up processes and practices when missing.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate and influence a range of stakeholders.
• Fully proficient with MS Office suite as well as design / marketing tools (i.e. Hubspot)
