Quantifi Hiring for Financial Software Developer Job at London, England Full Time

Seeking a junior-level, talented .NET programmer with mathematical abilities and inclination, to enhance and support Quantifi’s financial software (Trading, Risk and Portfolio Management). This would be an idea role for a talented software developer looking for a start in financial technology. Intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, diligence and attention to detail are key to success in this position. Ample guidance, training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, efficient, and elegant solutions to meet functional requirements. This might involve multiple languages and technologies. C#/.NET is the primary platform, but C++, SQL, Python and VBA for MS-Excel are also employed.
• Work closely with the Core Technology and Quantitative Research teams to ensure optimal integration of financial models into Quantifi’s comprehensive software products, and to resolve complex technical issues.
• Work closely with QA and Client Services to ensure that products are properly tested, documented, and supported.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree or higher in in Computer Science (or other STEM major with relevant experience)
• 0-3 years of experience in application development (fresh graduates welcome to apply).
• Good C#, C++ or Java skills
• Solid foundation in RDBMS concepts and SQL programming.
• Good written / verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in Financial Derivatives Pricing and Risk Management.
• Experience with cloud technologies
