Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow SOP’s, Assist Lead Operator and Quality Department with yarn production.
• Adhere to machine doff times on extrusion lines, texturing, twisting, backwinding and lab testing requirements.
• Build and install packs with proper cleaning, parts organization and proper care when assembling spin packs.
• Fully trained in all functions of all machine functions and quality testing requirements.
• Use and understand the appropriate specification sheets to set up the equipment.
• Understanding of testing requirements and specification requirements.
• Promote safety, quality, training, and teamwork within the department.
• Ensure daily housekeeping is completed, as assigned.
• Monitor yarn paths on all equipment to verify proper operation or production and quality testing equipment.
• Understand Quality testing documentation requirements and specifications to ensure first quality product.
• Complete all documents and testing at designated and required intervals.
• Follow best practices to balance production, doff times, and acceptable timing for test requirements for best machine utilization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of ‘hands on’ production experience.
• Proficient in writing, reading, speaking, and understanding English.
