We are recruiting for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our HR department. This is an exciting position to support our HR strategy and ensure that we continue to deliver an exceptional HR service to the group of companies.
About you
We are looking for a self-motivated, confident individual with a proven track record of working within a human resource recruitment and onboarding role within a fast-paced environment. You should have a minimum of 3 years experience of in-house recruitment along with strong organisational and administration skills to actively support the companys growth and the needs of its employees.
You need an excellent employment law knowledge to ensure that all hiring, and onboarding decisions are legally compliant, excellent experience with phone and face to face interviews, candidate screening and evaluation. Familiarity with hiring by using social media and professional networks like LinkedIn. In addition, you will need excellent verbal and written communication skills together with strong decision-making skills.
The successful candidate should be CIPD qualified and have a qualification and/or CPD in recruitment, selection and resourcing. A CIPD level 5 Diploma in HRM would be desirable but not essential as this could be done as part of your continued professional development.
You will be responsible for implementing and delivering the organisations Recruitment and Onboarding strategy to ensure that we hire the best people and then onboard them successfully into the business. You will support the Head of People with strategic HR projects to actively support the companys growth and the needs of its employees to ensure the organisation is an employer of choice.
You will also support in other aspects of HR including, (but not exclusive to) engagement and performance management as required.
What will be expected of you
You will be responsible for:

• Playing a key role in the development and implementation of our recruitment and onboarding strategy within best practice guidelines.
• All aspects of the recruitment and onboarding experience; from talent sourcing and attracting candidates, to interviewing, hiring new employees, and nurturing them through their probation.

As part of this (but not exclusive):

• You will develop and implement creative ways of recruiting to support each distinct company
• You will maintain, review and update our recruitment software
• You will liaise with department managers to determine the job role and specification is accurate and will meet the business objectives
• You will analyse CVs using objective scoring mechanisms within our recruitment system
• You will develop appropriate assessments, competency-based tests and interview structures
• You will ensure that compliance is adhered to within the recruitment process
• You will lead on the induction delivery of all new starters ensuring they have a well-planned training plan through their probationary period
• You will ensure that all new starter training plans are in place with relevant department
• You will write and review all relevant employment policies
• You will keep track and report on recruitment metrics e.g. time to hire and cost per hire
• You will advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
• You will recommend ways to improve our employer brand
