QRC Logistics is a proudly owned family transportation business based out of the Greater Toronto Area that started out as a small courier company doing rush pickups and deliveries using cars and vans all around the GTA. As our customer’s requirements evolved, so did the company. Since then, QRC has grown and expanded across Ontario. Most recently we are very proud to announce our newest location in Smiths Falls, Ontario!

At QRC Logistics, we pride ourselves on provided the following services at the best customer satisfaction:

· Cartage division with 5-ton trucks all with tailgates to handle LTL

· Trailer division to handle FL freight

· Overnight division for less time sensitive deliveries

· Rush division for time critical deliveries

· Warehouse storage and full pick and pack operation

· Network of terminals across the country in every major center

· QRC specializes in Retail deliveries

With the opening of our new location in Smiths Falls, Ontario, QRC Logistics is looking for company drivers who will join our expanding team. As a QRC driver, you will be a major part of the core service we are known for, transporting retail goods. If you are an experienced driver with great customer service skills, we want to hear from you!

Job Title: G Licensed Truck Driver (AZ license an asset)

Reports to: Terminal Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Job Specifications:

Must possess a valid Ontario G-class driver’s license (AZ considered an asset) and should be at least 21 years old
Clean driving abstract
Retail delivery experience will serve as an asset
Conducting daily pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintaining vehicle hygiene on a daily basis

Deliver packages in an efficient and timely manner
Knowledge of load securement is an asset
Daily interaction with store customers is required (white glove service)
Ability to physically load and unload cargo, scan cartons and keep track of inventory
Able to effectively maneuver in congested traffic areas
Proficient using a smartphone device
Flexible schedule would be preferred
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

Competencies:

Ability to follow instructions & knows routes within Ontario
Able to read, write and speak English

Maintain a professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Have excellent time managements and organizational skills
Be reliable and committed
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Attention to detail
Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours if needed
