Over the last 27 years, QMF Steel has secured its position in OEM Parts Manufacturing, Commercial Construction and Heavy Highway.

QMF’s capabilities are in high demand and we need to add a Production Planner/Scheduler to ensure that production deadlines are met.

Production Planner/Scheduler Qualifications:

• Knowledge of aluminum, stainless, steel, hardware as well as production processes, fabrication processes, quality steps, kitting, push/pull systems, Kanban, lean manufacturing.
• 2+ years experience using an ERP/MRP software program.

Production Planner/Scheduler Abilities:

• Ability to think strategically in order to create solutions to bottlenecks, to filling open capacity, to managing equipment interruptions.
• Ability to gather data and analyze in order to drive efficiencies and quality for future work.

Production Planner/Scheduler Duties:

• Create and drive project schedules to satisfy customer requirements and meet or improve dates.
• Evaluate, adjust, issue, maintain and monitor work orders/job travelers for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies as required by engineer produced shop aides.
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and drive production requirements based on material availability, manpower and machine capacities.
• Review previous day’s results and discuss current/future production expectations with process owners.
• Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate & timely data is incorporated into the schedule.
• Report issues, delays and potential solutions to Project Team.
• Report weekly demand and potential needs to Equipment Manager.
• Monitor budget vs actual labor costs.
• Meet production objectives by forecasting job requirements and potential barriers.

Must be able to work in the Campbell, TX office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
