Software Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Software Engineer to join our growing team, office located in Mawson Lakes SA (WFH available). You will join an experienced, innovative and supportive tight-knit team, to support the design, development and deployment of software solutions to Defence. As Software Engineer , you will be responsible for:
The implementation of a flexible software framework for various projects

Development of process from concept to code for algorithms

Working closely with the client to elicit requirements and implement GPU-accelerated solutions that execute within the framework

Development of software tools and associated engineering artefacts to support migration of algorithms from MATLAB to GPU accelerated modules to operate within the framework

Development of user manuals for project tools

Reporting to the client on a regular basis and participating in progress reviews

The design and design review of systems and/or processes, requirements and configuration management

Supporting trials onsite and on deployments.

To be successful in the role of Software Engineer , you will need to bring with you:

A Bachelor of Computer Science (or related discipline)

A thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements elicitation, software development, Verification and Validation activities, and development of software engineering artefacts

Complex problem-solving abilities and skills

Demonstrated experience in GPU-accelerated computing;

Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following programming languages in a software development environment: C, C++, Python

Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
