The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of People Experience and Operations, this role will lead the development and execution of our learning and development strategy for the Australian business. Our business is in a period of high growth and as the business expands and transforms, this role will collaborate with leaders design learning solutions aligned to our strategy and vision for the future.
In this hybrid role, you will partner with the business to support the delivery of the people strategy, providing generalist HR support to the business to support engagement, wellbeing and retention.
Your key areas of focus will include, but are not limited to:
Design, develop and deliver the Learning and Development Strategy which includes broader technical, professional and corporate learning and development
Design and delivery learning solutions which enhance our leadership capability
Develop career pathways and career development strategies, frameworks, resource and tools
Build strong relationships with business leaders, partnering with them to address people challenges and to maximise engagement and performance, becoming a trusted HR POC for employees within your partnering model
Ensure all mandatory and compliance requirements are up to date and managed effectively
Leverage with international resources to ensure knowledge of new methods and techniques and collaboration
Build cross functional networks to influence and grow the commitment to capability development across the organisation
This is a hybrid role that can be based in Adelaide, Canberra or Melbourne.
What you’ll bring
Proven L&D experience with a track record in the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives in accordance with adult learning principles, mapped to measurable results
Ability to work with business with dispersed geographical locations
Experience of working in changing environments with demonstrated resilience and ability to pivot when required
Highly developed interpersonal skills and consultative leadership style, with the ability to create positive and professional relationships
Due to the nature of our work, you’ll need to be an Australian citizen and eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.
