As a Site Reliability Engineer you will work with various Product Development and Technology Teams to enable software delivery and keep services healthy in our internal datacenters and Microsoft Azure environments using automation and Infrastructure as Code. Strong partnership with Development teams is essential to the success of this role as you build tools to get developers delivering safely and swiftly.

Essential Functions:
Working with other teams and enable them to deploy infrastructure and solutions to different environments by developing tools and frameworks.

Following direction from Development Managers, you will work on improving deployment efficiency and minimize change rate of failure

Train and Assist other teams on adapting QHR’s proven Software Delivery best practices.

Ensure the reliability, efficiency and security of applications and services under your group’s responsibility.

Respond to Availability and Reliability Incidents of applications and services under your group’s responsibility

Performing objective post-incident analysis and review process along with other teams.

Reducing overall operations workload through automation so we can focus on newer work

Write, review, and refine technical documentation and diagrams to bring shared understanding across the organization.

Qualifications:
Excellent problem isolation and troubleshooting skills and a knack for reproducing problems or outages

Software Programming skills

Appetite for solving complex problems and can-do mindset

Experience with multiple IT technologies such as Linux, Windows, Networking, etc.

Practical hands on working experience creating Infrastructure as Code with technologies such as: Azure CLI, Powershell, Python, Shell, Terraform, Terragrunt, and others.

Good understanding of source control and software delivery with Azure DevOps and Jenkins or other tools for IAC.

1-2 years experience delivering services in Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.

Degree or Diploma in relevant IT fields or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus points if you have experience with:
Relevant Microsoft Azure Certifications will be an asset.

Azure technologies and concepts such as VM, Storage, Key Vault, AKS, Azure Policy, RBAC, App Service, Functions, and others.

Azure Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions.
