The opportunity

Responsible for the execution of motor and property strategy changes and delivery of new initiatives for claims in order to improve the customer experience, drive growth and bottom-line profitability. Engage QBE partners, stakeholders and operations to help with the execution of change and understanding of the motor and property strategy to build QBE’s claims future.

Your new role

The role will also contribute to the identification of market opportunities, gain insights from customers, competitor, and market analysis along with identifying future QBE customer needs.

Beyond the functional aspects of the role, the Specialist will ensure the success of motor and property claims by building strong relationships across QBE and contributing to the change journey for our people to becoming more customer focused, more empowered, agile and accountable.

• Design future motor and property supply chain models
• Design tracking and benefits analysis
• Lead individual Initiatives including engagement of support services
• Engage QBE stakeholders including our business partners in the design, development and execution of motor and property strategy initiatives and changes
• Identify industry best practice for motor and property claims, supply chain and claims/assessing practices.
• Inspire innovation from the business for cost, quality and service ideas on optimising motor and property claims and assessing

About You

• In-depth subject matter expertise on Motor and/or Property claims preferred
• Extensive knowledge of general insurance short tail claims a must
• Previous project management experience
• Experience building relationships, communicating, negotiating, and influencing at a senior level within the insurance industry.
