The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Talent, this role sits within our AUSPAC People Team. As the Talent Specialist, you will implement and drive a consistent and timely talent review process including talent management and succession planning, in line with the talent agenda and broader business priorities. You will work closely with our People Business Partnering team and business stakeholders at all levels to drive and support talent, succession, and development discussions.
You will also:
- Implement and drive a consistent and timely talent review process to understand employees’ strengths, ambitions, and development actions
- Support succession planning through preparation of talent packs, facilitating leader and People Business Partner enablement sessions using appropriate succession methodologies
- Recommend and implement tailored development strategies to promote and retain talent
- Compile quarterly executive team and board presentations to guide talent discussions
- Collaborate with Talent Leads, Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition community to increase talent visibility locally and globally, and support internal mobility and career succession
- Ensure talent data is maintained and assist in the preparation of insights.

To be successful in this role, you will be confident working with senior level executives. As such, strong relationship management skills including consulting and influencing capabilities will be essential. You will also have:
- An understanding of market trends in relation to talent management as well as talent and development strategies
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
