Our Talent Acquisition team is entering an exciting chapter, to ensure we are well positioned to build the workforce of the future. You will play a key role in helping to shape the Talent Acquisition function and identify new ways of working.
As Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing internal and external sourcing and recruitment related activities for the Qantas Corporate Groups portfolio, including a key focus on Executive level recruitment activity. You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective recruitment marketing campaign strategies for a variety of roles, establishing talent pipeline opportunities and ensuring a positive candidate experience that also reinforces the values of the Qantas brand.
Building relationships with business partners and stakeholders including the Human Resources community and leadership teams, Business Unit Leaders and Senior Executives will be an essential requirement of this role, whilst maintaining a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and driving and delivering a best-practice, cost effective service to the Qantas Group.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be responsible for coaching, training and supporting the team on effective recruitment and selection processes and use of Workday, driving quality assurance practices and fostering a continuous improvement mindset, while also taking up opportunities to lead a small team.
What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Extensive, relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, managing recruitment strategies end-to-end for Corporate Group portfolios – experience across Executive and Senior Executive level roles advantageous
  • Demonstrated market knowledge of talent challenges and opportunities relevant to Qantas Group talent needs
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • The ability to project manage large scale recruitment activity to ensure we meet recruitment deadlines in line with business objectives
  • Ability to adopt a positive and flexible approach to change and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Good problem-solving capability and ability to exercise sound judgment, exploring innovative approaches to sourcing strategies
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels when required, including experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience in talent pooling, headhunting and networking within the relevant Talent community is key to this role
  • Strong attention to detail
