Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is part of a team responsible for Accounting, Forecasting and Reporting for the Freight portfolio within the Financial Performance and Control Team. This role requires a moderate level of technical accounting skills, communication and influencing skills and the ability to make appropriate levels of judgement in relevant areas.

You’ll have:

• Experience preparing month end journals including non-standard journals, prepayments and reallocations

• Experience completing balance sheet reconciliations including identification and resolution of reconciling items

• Understanding of the monthly results and provide insightful commentary as required

• Demonstrated ability to recognise when consultation on technical accounting issues is required

• Have attention to detail, adaptability and ability to manage in a fast paced environment

• Team orientated, with a high sense of customer satisfaction

• 2-3 years relevant experience

• Graduate degree in a relevant discipline
