QA Precision Products Inc Hiring for Sales Manager – Motorsports Full Time

QA1 is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager for our Motorsports division that has a comprehensive understanding and passion for the motorsports industy to be part of our management team. Responsible for leading all channel sales activities for QA1 motorsports products including strategy, planning, organization, and team development to deliver business goals. A big picture thinker who develops the sales channel and key account strategies to be executed on by the sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop strategic vision for sales channel and key accounts to be implemented by the sales team
• Develop annual revenue forecast including sales by customer and gross margins
• Leadership of the sales team to achieve goals and develop capability
• Manage outside sales reps to maintain QA1 mindshare and achieve sales goals
• Develop strong relationships with key customers
• Collaborate with marketing and product management to launch new products
• Provide regular status on sales activity and results relative to goals
• Facilitate and deliver semiannual customer / account reviews to management team
• Collaborate with Manager of product management to establish and communicate pricing on all products
• Manage and enforce MAP policy with motorsports sales partners
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop and execute channel marketing and promotion activities in conjunction with key customers
• Support all demand generation activities including tradeshows, events, website, advertising, catalogs and other marketing activities
• on trends and conditions regarding products, competitors, economic conditions, new technologies and market trends
• Review and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner, as required to meet or exceed company goals on customer service
• Travel as needed to meet with customers and participate in tradeshows and events. Estimate 25% travel.
• Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervises the Motorsports Sales team
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws
• Conduct interviewing, hiring, training, and development of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work
• Performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues

Qualifications, Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
• 10 to 15 years related experience. Experience in automotive or powersports aftermarket is a requirement
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, and related applications
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external parties
• Negotiation skills

• Relationship development skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Critical thinking and analysis
