Overview:
Our client are now looking for an eager candidate to join them as an apprentice. 

Duties: [as an apprentice you will be responsibile for providing:]

• On-Site User Support: As the frontline of IT, you’ll have the opportunity to directly assist users, solving real-world tech problems and gaining hands-on experience.
• First-Line IT Helpdesk Ticket Troubleshooting: Hone your technical skills by responding to and resolving IT Helpdesk tickets, a core function of IT support.
• Implementing System Changes: Play a crucial role in system updates, learning how to minimize disruptions while keeping our technology at the cutting edge.
• Cybersecurity Promotion: Be involved in vital cybersecurity measures to protect the organization, gaining knowledge in one of the most important areas of modern IT.
• Software Maintenance: Get experience with a variety of key software systems like Sage 200, Microsoft 365, and more, expanding your technical knowledge base.
• Collaborative Project Work: Work alongside experienced IT professionals and external partners on critical IT projects, gaining invaluable insights into the IT industry.

In order to apply, having the following would be beneficial:
Desirable skills:

• Technology passion – Windows OS proficiency

Entry requirements:

• 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
• Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:
£15,000 per annum.
