We are looking to add an experienced HR professional to our team! Your responsibilities will include leading our recruiting efforts company-wide and delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. You’ll be responsible for the development of national recruiting plans, and you will assist our international locations with their recruiting while developing new, creative recruiting ideas. Your experience in a manufacturing environment is critical to this role. The successful candidate will be the key person ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
Q-Lab Corporation is a global leader in providing material durability testing products. Since 1956, we have designed and manufactured laboratory test products such as weathering testers, light stability testers and corrosion testers. We also perform contract test services for weathering and corrosion testing, including both laboratory and natural exposure tests. We maintain a global presence with testing facilities located in the US and sales and distribution facilities located in England, Germany and China. Our world-class corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility are located in Westlake, Ohio.

As our new HR team member, your responsibilities will include:
· Work with hiring managers to identify future hiring needs.
· Create detailed job descriptions along with personality traits for open positions
· Create job postings and post to internal and external job boards
· Work with international HR counterparts on open positions and postings
· Assess applicants’ skills, experience and culture fit to identify strong candidates
· Phone screen qualified job applicants and provide detailed notes to hiring managers
· Schedule in-person or video interviews with hiring managers and candidates
· Correspond with candidate on interview details and send out necessary assessments
· Work with manager to track applicant status and send out notifications as needed
· Schedule, coordinate and facilitate onsite or video panel interviews
· Act as liaison between hiring managers and outside recruiting agencies as needed
· Consult with hiring manager on written offer letters and negotiations
· Work with department managers to create training schedules for new hires
· Develop a robust pipeline of candidates for regularly hired and hard to fill positions
· Collaborate with managers and HR team to identify future hiring needs
· Source active and passive candidates using data bases and social media platforms
· Attend job fairs and other community events to help build company brand
· Manage internship program and seasonal employee hiring
· Improve recruitment s for Senior Leadership Team
· Using real time data, established salary bands and salary surveys to determine appropriate compensation
structure for our positions
