We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our growing testing community, working within Product Teams to deliver high value world class products and services.

The role will be a pivotal part within UK IT and will play a leading role in helping the business deliver engagements that delight and disrupt the market. This role offers extensive challenges and rewards, will add capacity and drive to reduce time to production of new product portfolio additions and enhancements and will play a critical part in defining and delivering both the product and service strategy.

Test Engineer’s Key Responsibilities:
Champion quality engineering practices within the team throughout the design, development, delivery and support of products
Collaborate with testers, developers and other members of the team to ensure all aspects of testing (functional and non functional) are carried out as required. For example:
API Testing
Performance Testing
Security Testing
Introduce techniques to ensure that high quality code can be delivered quickly and efficiently through automation and modern software engineering practices and tools, such as:
Effective branching strategies
Efficient, lean test automation frameworks
Utilising automated code scanning tools
Providing quick effective quality feedback
Encourage everyone (Developers, Agile Delivery Managers, Product Managers) to think about how quality is defined and measured
Work with DevOps engineers to embed practices in the team which enable consistent, predictable, fully tested deployments
Please bear in mind the following;
An experienced professional (3yrs+) with a successful track record in software testing, utilising best practice tools and techniques
Solid understanding of Test process
Familiarity of Test Management Tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)
Strong Test Automation skills, preferably with experience of Selenium or Cypress (Java Script, Python or C#)
Proven experience in Agile/ CI/ CD projects
Exposure to any of the following would be advantageous: Performance Testing, Mobile Testing, DB Testing, Accessibility Testing, Security Testing, API Testing (Postman or similar tool)
3+ Years in a testing role
Experience in Agile/ CI/ CD projects
Test Automation experience, preferably Selenium or Cypress
Coding skills in any of the following: Java script, Python, C#
