The Contingent Hire team is responsible for the delivery of PwC’s contingent workforce strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior manager to support the Contingent Hire Leader in driving change and influencing our key stakeholders from across the business.
Business partnering and strategic thinking are key elements of the role; with a specific focus on influencing senior stakeholders and driving change across a diverse business. Reporting to the Contingent Hire leader, the individual will:
Build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders from across several lines of service
Drive forward a number of transformation projects
Work alongside our managed service provider, actively managing requirements and ensuring resources are brought in on a timely and compliant fashion
Be the first point of escalation for the business/resourcing for an allocate Line of Service, and
Develop a deeper understanding of how the firm operates.
Responsibilities:
Working alongside our Business stakeholders & Procurement to overhaul the current approach to sourcing by shifting the dial from reactive to proactive. This will include redefining processes, driving forward alternative offerings, working closely with our Alternative Delivery Models and exploring alternative providers where necessary,
Be responsible for data quality and reporting
Providing guidance on flexible resourcing options across several Lines of Service to drive the business to make the right strategic hiring decisions, specifically where multiple Lines of Service are supporting a client deliverable.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven track record in Contingent Hire/Talent Acquisition, with a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements associated with Contractors.
Collaboration with and influencing senior stakeholders, often anticipating their needs and challenging the status quo
Strong business acumen, demonstrating a commercial understanding of the business and the factors which influence resourcing needs
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and unstructured problems
Able to demonstrate the importance of data integrity and accurate reporting.
Ability to stand back and understand the wider picture and understands their role as co-ordinating the translation of vision and strategic direction into co-ordinated action and accountability
