Finance and Firm Operations bring this to life by providing meaningful information and data that enables the business to create value for clients and achieve their goals. The work undertaken here covers a range of areas from managing important client and supplier relationships, to financial reporting and cost control, and advising across an array of financial areas and internal systems.
As a Manager in our General Ledger and Accounting Projects team your impact will be seen by:
Identifying, and implementing, opportunities for business process efficiency improvements by using firm available automation tools
Coaching and supporting the onshore and offshore GL teams
Reviewing monthly journals and supporting workings for fixed assets, global charges and other standard recurring journals
Supporting the team leader in the resolution of ad hoc queries from Business Finance, GL offshore team and other stakeholders
Assisting the team leader to review and sign off on monthly balance sheet reconciliations and standard operating procedures
About you
You have a background in accounting with strong skills in Excel. You are CPA/CA qualified and have experience in leading a finance team. You can effectively communicate at all levels and have high attention to detail.
