About the role
We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead on Finance Transitions, the role will involve leading a team to transition key finance function processes and systems from our clients to our delivery centre in Belfast. These transitions generally involve process standardisation to best practice to allow us to focus on delivery service excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high growth team, and develop and grow our capability in large scale shared service delivery, from our state of the art delivery centre in Belfast. The successful candidate will be provided with structured training and professional development, enabling them to meet the requirements of this responsive and fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and overseeing the transition of key finance and accounting activities from existing client functions to our co-sourced model.
Scoping and understanding the client’s current system and reporting requirements
Contributing to the creation and providing best practice challenge to finance processes
Implementation of workflow and work management tools
Communication with client and internal stakeholders
Coaching and mentoring and the ongoing development of the team
Person Specification
Essential
Proven track record solutioning, mobilising and delivering finance transformation projects and transitions / managed service transitions, ideally managed service to managed service transition.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, with a number of years post qualification experience in professional services including outsourced finance functions.
Detailed knowledge around finance function processes (R2R, P2P, O2C).
Strong project management skills including process/systems cutover and hypercare.
Experience of a range of finance systems would be highly desirable.
