Our award winning Early Careers Talent Acquisition team (TA) are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Northern Ireland team to successfully deliver our early careers and student recruitment strategy, supporting the growth of the largest PwC regional office in Belfast.
As the Early Careers Talent Acquisition Senior Manager you will form part of our collaborative senior leadership team and be responsible for driving innovation in our function – for spotting the opportunities to improve, create, evolve and embed new ways of working, technology and processes to enhance the commerciality of our team and the people experience for our team, clients and candidates. Through effective leadership you will develop and coach our next generation of recruiters, role modelling key behaviours and taking ownership of escalations as required. You will form a partnership with Northern Ireland business, understanding their strategic goals and future ambitions while consulting with, and providing pragmatic advice to them using your expertise in the Early Careers landscape.
About the role
Partner with our Northern Ireland business to understand growth ambitions to successfully deliver our Early Careers and Student Recruitment process and selection strategies, ensuring a positive experience for our candidates, clients and people
Representation of PwC locally at events and forums at schools, universities and professional forums, talking credibly about our TA strategies
Lead, engage and motivate the Early Career and Student Recruitment team based in Belfast whilst drawing on the support of the national team
Use of a data led approach to measure recruitment effectiveness and identify where interventions are required. Provide management information to the business and Recruitment LoS leaders to support workforce planning
Sensitive to risk management, with experience of dealing with escalations, working closely with our colleagues in the People function to find the right support and solutions
Work closely with Employer Brand and Talent Engagement leaders to ensure our go to market strategies deliver the right diversity and future talent into the firm across all lines of service (LoS)
Strategic leadership to position PwC as the employer of choice for top NI talent
Support the Early Careers and Student Recruitment team and serve as a role model for living the PwC values and influencing others to do the same, enhancing impact by seeking constructive feedback and offering quality feedback that has significantly supported the development of others around you
About you
Subject matter expert – knowledge and experience of the Early Careers Talent Acquisition landscape and an understanding of the local market in Northern Ireland
Leadership – demonstrable experience of successfully delivering a strategy through a team of Managers
Stakeholder management – ability to set and manage expectations, provide pragmatic and consultative advice and guidance and manage escalations as and when they arise
Resilience – ability to overcome obstacles and deliver innovative and creative solutions
Communication and influence – clear concise and effective communicator, able to build a strong network that can be leveraged to deliver against strategy
Collaboration – ability to work as part of a senior leadership team to deliver a national strategy for Early Careers through both remote and face to face relationships
Commercially minded – able to understand how Talent Acquisition can support the requirements of stakeholders and the wider business
