FP&A Analyst

As an FP&A Analyst in Purplebricks you will use your strong financial and commercial acumen, plus your analytical mindset to support our Finance team to deliver and grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends

Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
• Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the finance operations accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad hot reports, tools and excel dashbboards
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Work closely with Sales Finance Business Partner to deliver regional financial and operational performance reporting
• Compare regional performance, highlight themes and make recommendations
• Provide ad hoc support and analysis with pricing and proposition projects
• Provide ongoing review and support of the Field Sales Commission scheme
• Provide hands on support in the management of one of our largest third-party partners

Skills required:

• Part qualified or actively studying towards accountancy qualification (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
• A minimum of 2 years working within a Financial team performing analysis and delivering business insights
• Advanced excel skills
• Intermediate/advanced powerpoint skills
• Strong ability to analyse and interpret data
• Experience working with and presenting to senior executives
