About the Role

Lead and support a high performing team to meet all month-end and year-end priorities in this hands-on Financial Accounting Manager position. The role reports directly to a passionate, collaborative, and supportive Group Accountant, and will require you to liaise with Program Managers and Leaders across the wider organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all month end and year end processing activities
• Preparation of management reports, contributing to the preparation of Board and Committee papers
• Manage the interim and year end audit processes
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts and FBT reporting
• Processing of cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Oversee Fixed Asset and Lease Asset Registers and reporting
• Undertake variance analysis for the group accounts
• Support the Group Accountant to streamline processes, procedures and policies where appropriate

Skills & Experience required

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting
• CA or CPA qualified
• Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to coach and develop a remote team
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition accounting standards
• Flexible attitude, and the ability to adapt to changes within a growing and evolving work environment
• Strong interpersonal skills which will support you in building relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business
